ANFRAC SOFTWARE
Based on the adaptive filter design for active noise control and the principles of fractional calculus, we developed the ANFRAC program and installed it on our PC's. In effect the ANFRAC program can be interpreted as an adaptive filter which actively cancels out broad-band nonperiodic noise.
Testing of the ANFRAC software was carried out in two phases. The first test phase results demonstrated that ANFRAC is capable of reducing noise levels by approximately 70%, with relatively short time series. In the second phase, involving a five-point delay with a 32,000-point time series, ANFRAC demonstrated a reduction rate of 86%.
